Jonah Ryans Journey

Donation protected
Hello everyone❤️

As most of you know, our sweet Jonah has been on quite the journey since he’s entered this world in December, but for those that don’t here’s his story...

Jonah was born prematurely on December 10, 2019 weighing 2lbs in Albuquerque. Well, we all knew it was going to be awhile until he was going to be able to come home but what we didn’t know was that there was much more going on. Little Jonah was doing so well and growing but after having some setbacks due to having learn that he had chronic lung disease and PDA(heart defect) some more tests needed to be done. The tests showed that his PDA(heart defect) had become larger. He then was transported to Presbyterian Hospital there in Albuquerque where he would undergo surgery in the next few days to repair the defect. Unfortunately, after Jonah arrived the doctors there learned his chronic lung disease was worse than they thought so surgery was postponed for a later time. The surgery was eventually done and All the Glory to God, everything went well
In February Jonah turned 3 months and was looking great, so  the doctors were able to wean him on the ventilator! Unfortunately that didn’t last to long
Due to his severe chronic lung disease and his poor little lungs being badly beaten up, the doctors decided he was going to need to a tracheotomy. Not only that, but because he was not able to control his breathing he was also going to need a gastronomy tube(Gtube) placed which he will then have for a couple years. These procedures were highly suggested because his little lungs were still to small to be taken off the high pressure air support. These both took place in April and once again his surgery went well, Praise God

As of today Jonah is pushing 11 lbs(not quite there yet) and is on the home ventilator just like the one he will be coming home in! Doctors are very pleased with the progress our little fighter is making BUT unfortunately the home ventilator is in short supple due to the corona virus and the hospitals needs

So friends and family I’m making this go fund me for my sweet sister in law and brother just to help take a little financial stress off their shoulders! Bryanna has not once left baby Jonah’s side while my brother is having to travel back for work and then back to see them every chance he gets! We all know this takes a toll not only emotionally but financially! We are not sure how much longer baby Jonah will have to stay in Albuquerque but if you are able to help this sweet family in any way possible it would be GREATLY appreciated❤️❤️❤️
