JoJo’s fight ~ Joanne Beaulieu and family

Go fund me for Joanne Beaulieu and family. My name is Jennifer, JoJo has been in my family for the past 25 years as is Jamie is my brother. JoJo is a 44 yo mother of 3 boys; Jayden (21), Jordan (16), & Jarren (9) and fiancé to Jamie Roy. Her love for life, her strength and her will to live just amazes us. She loves outdoor activities, spending time with her family and loved ones, she is a HUGE Miami Dolphins fan and avid Country music listener. She has a very strong mindset and truly is a warrior. Despite the loss of her mom at a very young age and the diagnosis of breast cancer for the first time at age 36. She underwent chemotherapy then, multiple surgeries including a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgeries with also being dealt some infection complications then. She has also had some heart issues due to the first round of Chemo~which has affected her thru the past few years. She has yet again been diagnosed with Cancer.

In November of 2023, JoJo was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer~Stage 4, Terminal, no cure. This is a reoccurrence of the 2015 diagnosis but involves a different part of the body. Currently located in her bones ~ specifically the Sternum Manubrium (bone in the chest cavity). There is no option of surgery. Currently she suffers from severe pain on the upper right side in the chest/arm/shoulder/head and neck. It’s really limiting her ability to do normal daily activities and she is and has been out of work for the past few months and is not eligible for any TDI benefits. We are hoping to lessen any financial burden on her and her family thru this collection.

Currently, she has undergone 2 chemo (Taxol) treatments this month. There will be a total of 12 treatments and they will spread thru the next several weeks. Along side of the chemo they are trialing her on two Immune Targeted therapies including Herceptin & Perjeta~these were her only options to try and even the Oncologist is not sure if these will help. Her prognosis is unknown at this time, she is/we are all hoping and praying for the best outcome for her and Jamie and their family. Doctors are not sure the specifics of her life line; everything is in question with how long she has, as they are hoping the course of treatments will give her many more years but nothing is a guarantee. Seeing as though she has been thru Chemo before it is very difficult on your body and depends on each individual person whether your body can withstand the treatments. Doctors have stated it could be 6 months to 3 years but it depends on you as an individual. We are hoping she has many, many more years of quality life to spend time with her family and loved ones.

In October of 2023, several weeks before JoJo was diagnosed Jamie, her fiancé was also diagnosed with a cancerous tumor located within the sinus cavity. After undergoing one biopsy surgery and several MRI/CT Scans they have concluded that it is quite a very large cancerous mass, that is very rare and is mainly localized, slow spreading within the sinus cavity. Doctors feel it is possible to fully remove it with a very long and intensive surgery as it is very close to the brain/eye and back of throat. He is scheduled at the end of January for this procedure.

Jamie is currently the main provider in the family and once his surgery comes he will also be out of commission, trying to recover to get back on his feet. We are hoping to provide them a little bit of help and assistance so they may worry a little bit less during this difficult time.
