Welcome to our Join Jade Masks GoFundMe page, organized by a passionate group of high school and college students working together to combat the dangers of COVID-19. Join Jade Masks is a part of the JoinJade campaign which aims to promote awareness for liver cancer and hepatitis B.

COVID-19 has been a difficult obstacle in many of our lives, even more so for those without access to adequate protection to the virus. In California, Governor Newsom has made it mandatory to wear face coverings in public settings. Our team hopes to alleviate some stress and fear caused by the virus by providing reusable fabric masks to vulnerable populations including senior homes, skilled nursing facilities, and psychiatric/mental health centers.

We are raising funds to afford the masks in order to distribute them to non-profit organizations who have confirmed their need for masks. Once we have sufficient funds, we will place an order for the masks and give them to our partner organizations. We hope to not only provide them protection from the coronavirus, but to also educate them on the importance of getting tested and staying safe, whether it be for Hep B or COVID-19.
