Joined Hands Pantry Thanksgiving 2022
Donation protected
The Joined Hands Food Pantry hosted many years of community dinners for Thanksgiving Day. We would gather in the gymnasium at St. John's Lutheran, and hundreds of neighbors could enjoy a buffet-style meal of all the classic Thanksgiving fixings.
For the last two years, that has not been possible.
But, we were blessed to be able to serve hundreds of neighbors a proper Thanksgiving meal to-go.
We are still unable to have Thanksgiving dinner in an indoor setting, and with the price of everything going up this year, it is even more expensive to provide food to our community, but with your help, we will be able to do it this year.
This year, we will continue to bring Thanksgiving to the community in a covid-safe way. We will distribute groceries on November 19th (the Saturday before Thanksgiving), including turkeys and hams. And on Thanksgiving Day, we will prepare over 200 turkey dinners to-go and distribute them as needed.
Now more than ever, we need to come together as neighbors to help each other. If you can help us by donating, sharing this fundraiser, telling your friends and family, or just sending us words of encouragement, we greatly appreciate it!
