Join Zulema's Journey to a Better Life

As many of you know, I’m living in Nicaragua with my husband. Nicaragua is the poorest country in North America, second only to Haiti. Many people live in homes with dirt floors and tin roofs, with no glass for windows. Our housekeeper, Zulema, is a 30-year-old Nicaraguan, a single mom with no family left, and raising a beautiful 7-year-old little girl. Zulema asked us to be her Godparents! They are like family to us, and we are helping them build a home. We bought them a motorcycle last year to help get her daughter to school and daycare, and we do what we can financially. I humbly am starting this fundraiser to help them finish the house.

I KNOW there are so many important causes out there. And we want to do so much for people in this country, but the best way I know how to start is with this. One person at a time.
What I raise here will help to lay the floors in her home , buy doors and windows and a bed and bedding for her daughter Kiara.

A good 8-hour day wage here is $10-$15 a day, so even if you can give $5, it’s half a day's wage and it matters.

Thank you for considering!
