**DONATIONS MATCHED THROUGH JULY 1st. PLS READ BELOW**

Our precious daughter is turning 30 years old this year. When we were her age we were married, had graduate degrees, we had traveled extensively, had jobs that excited us. Chelsea has never spoken a word or taken an independent step. She cannot use her hands. She has been fighting seizures for 25 years. Even something as basic as eating is beyond her reach as is unable to chew and swallow.

Despite her many challenges Chelsea showers us with love and affection. Her soulful and intense gaze and the smiles that melt us speak louder than words ever could.

When Chelsea was diagnosed with Rett syndrome at the age of 2 very little was known about the disorder including what caused it. Monica made her young daughter a promise that she would dedicate herself to helping develop a cure for Rett.

The Rett Syndrome Research Trust, run by Monica and inspired by Chelsea, has played a significant role in advancing genetic medicines for Rett. We remain optimistic that we can change the course of Rett.

Chelsea is the most vulnerable and yet the strongest person we know. In celebration of her milestone birthday we ask that you make a donation in support of Rett research that honors her resilience.

All donations made by July 1st will be matched by fellow Rett parents, Debby and Pete Rossin, up to $100,000.

With love and gratitude,

Monica and Pieter Coenraads
