Support the Jake Udermann Family after Farm Accident
Donation protected
Friends and Family, I am Brenda Widmer (Sam’s Mom) I am reaching out to ask for financial support for Jake and Sam Udermann and their two children, Haidyn and Ava. I have put together a GoFundMe page for their family to help them while Jake is unable to work.
On September 12, 2024, Jake was involved in a farm accident. It was an unfortunate and unexpected day that no one could have seen coming. Jake was in the process of lifting an irrigation spare tire out of the back of the pickup and it exploded which resulted in shattering his right leg femur bone. Although we can say his injuries may seem “minor” compared to what could have happened the MAJOR effect for their family of four is that it's going to take months for Jake’s injury to heal before he can get back to the job he loves “FARMING.”

Jake underwent emergency surgery Thursday night to repair his bone and place a 14" metal rod in his femur bone. Jake spent 4 days in the hospital and was able to come home Sunday night.
Due to the nature of his injuries, Jake will not be able to work for an extended period of time. There is no need to explain that the next few months will be challenging. Through recovery and rehab, Jake is going to need support from family, and friends. Sam has taken unpaid leave from work to help with Jakes recovery. One income is not enough to sustain their monthly financial needs such as medical bills and general expenses during this troubling time.
This has been a scary and trying time for their family. I am asking if you can help them with financial donations to ease some of their burdens during this tough time. Even a $5 donation can help.
If you would prefer to donate via Venmo. Sam has a Venmo account username is: SamUdermann21
Thank you in advance for your thoughts, prayers & donations. All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated. ❤️
There are moments in life where we need to support each other just a little bit more than normal.
