Help Us Be by Their Side: Support Our Family’s Travel to Visit My Sister (Halo/Mimi) in the Hospital, as well as, Medical and Legal Costs

Our family is facing one of the most difficult times of our lives. My beloved sister was recently the victim of a devastating accident — they were run over by a SUV and have since been in multiple care facilities recovering from the serious injuries. The most severe of these is their traumatic brain injury which they are battling every day relearning to speak, eat, drink, walk, etc. While they fight to heal, we’re doing everything we can to be by their side in Pennsylvania and ensure their life outside of the hospital is maintained.

Unfortunately, the cost of travel from South Carolina has created a painful barrier. As a family, we are struggling to cover the expenses to visit — flights, lodging, meals, and time away from work that all add up quickly. Being there in person means everything to us and helps tremendously to ensure all the wheels with medical care, their personal needs, and legal proceedings continue to turn, setting them up for the best possible outcome. They need our love, our presence, and our strength right now more than ever.
