Each week at Five N Two Food Pantry families come to us because they are hurting. Right now we are serving 300 to 350 families every week but our current building is in bad shape and limits how well we can serve our neighbors.

Hunger is a real and urgent problem in Harnett County, North Carolina. One in six people in our county faces food insecurity meaning they don’t always know where their next meal will come from. Thousands of children in our community are affected by food insecurity too with an estimated child food insecurity rate around 17 percent showing that far too many young people go without enough nutritious food.

We feel deeply called to meet these needs with dignity and care so we are building a new drive through pantry that will allow families to receive food quickly and safely especially through all weather and without long waits. We still need $114,000 to complete this project.

Your donation will help us make this pantry a reality by funding construction of the new drive through building, refrigeration and storage for fresh and perishable food, and the necessary equipment to serve more families with efficiency and care.
