Join Us in Supporting Britney and Josh

I'm requesting help for our daughter and son-in-law, Britney and Josh.

Josh was hospitalized in December 2023 with a stroke and heart infection. On Christmas Day that year, he had a scary heart surgery and received a new heart valve and pacemaker. This equipment ended the welding career he had worked toward. Now he's unable to get near most any equipment due to the frequency affecting his pacemaker. The following spring, they lost their home and truck due to lost finances. For the summer, they lived with us and then moved to Grand Rapids with his parents, hoping to find work for Britney. After working through the Christmas season, it became apparent caring for Nalla every day on his own was more than Josh could handle as he frequently goes into A-fib.

Britney and Josh still have financial needs and are struggling to make ends meet. Thankfully, they do not have a rent or house payment, but still have bills to cover. They are currently working on a disability case for Josh and a malpractice suit (which we cannot go into detail here), but no idea how long any of this will take.
