Hello, my name is Samantha Aguirre, and on July 3rd, 2025, at 5am, I received a phone call from my dad, scared and distraught he told me he was being taken he was simply going to work I panicked woke up screaming "they're taking my dad" three of my sibling woke up from my screams two (my olde brother and little sister) ran out while me and my other sister told my dad to remain calm, not resist arrest and to not sign any documents on the call, we ran out to see my dad, to see if we could do anything stop the arrest, when I ran up to the car the ice officer told me to back up or he'll shoot while proceeding to pull out his weapon, me scared for my dad aswell for my safety I called 911 out of desperation, but they weren't very helpful. At this point me, my older brother, and two youngest sisters were crying for help, but they took him. After this we all sat together and talked, and my brother told me that when he walked up the pulled weapon on him as well. My youngest sister who is 13 said that they pulled a weapon out on her aswell. while reviewing camera footage of cameras placed outside my home you can hear an officer say "get out or ill shoot you", they then proceeded to break his car window and forcefully take him out. We asked them to identify and the refused, we asked for information and they refused, they pulled up in unmarked cars taking my dad not hearing anything from or about him until 1pm when a public attorney contacted my dad. My father had a court hearing at 2pm but sadly nothing was able to be done and the detained him once again, crying in desperation while his 7 kids cried out " I love you dad" " we're here for you don't lose hope" and the one that broke my heart was when my 7 year old brother said " were never seeing dad again" and completely balled his eyes in the court room, while two of the officers who were there that morning stared at us with cold dead eyes. at around 4 pm we received a call from my dad and he told us that they presented him with a paper but they didn't give him a chance to read or look through it when they pulled out a gun to his head saying they'll shoot if he didn't get out, my dad scared and only thinking of his kids safety and his wife, he desperately looked for my number and called me. Joel Aguirre Basilio is my father, he is a hard-working man who worked almost ,every day providing for his family the best he could, my dad celebrated his 47th birthday on June 14th, 2025 as you can see in the picture my father was loved and very happy to celebrated with us despite everything that was happening that day, we asked for your help to help get the funds for an immigration attorney to try anything to help my dad, please share or donate anything helps. may God bless you all.

Hola, mi nombre es Samantha Aguirre, y el 3 de julio de 2025, a las 5 a.m., recibí una llamada telefónica de mi papá. Asustada y angustiada, me dijo que se lo estaban llevando. Entré en pánico y me desperté gritando "¡Se están llevando a mi papá!". Tres de mis hermanos se despertaron por mis gritos. Dos (mi hermano mayor y mi hermana menor) salieron corriendo mientras mi otra hermana y yo le dijimos a mi papá que mantuviera la calma, que no se resistiera al arresto y que no firmara ningún documento en la llamada. Corrimos a ver a mi papá, para ver si podíamos hacer algo para detener el arresto. Cuando corrí hacia el auto, el oficial de ICE me dijo que retrocediera o dispararía mientras procedía a sacar su arma. Temía por mi papá y por mi seguridad. Llamé al 911 desesperada, pero no fueron de mucha ayuda. En ese momento, mi hermano mayor, mis dos hermanas menores y yo estábamos llorando pidiendo ayuda, pero se lo llevaron. Después de esto, nos sentamos todos a conversar, y mi hermano me contó que, cuando se acercó, también le sacaron un arma. Mi hermana menor, de 13 años, dijo que también le sacaron un arma. Al revisar las grabaciones de las cámaras instaladas fuera de mi casa, se puede oír a un agente decir "Sal o te disparo". Luego rompieron la ventanilla de su coche y lo sacaron a la fuerza. Les pedimos que nos identificaran y se negaron. Les pedimos información y se negaron. Llegaron en coches sin distintivos y se llevaron a mi padre sin saber nada de él hasta la 1 de la tarde, cuando un abogado público lo contactó. Mi padre tenía una audiencia judicial a las 2 de la tarde, pero lamentablemente no pudieron hacer nada y lo detuvieron de nuevo, llorando desesperado mientras sus siete hijos gritaban "¡Te quiero, papá!", "¡Estamos aquí para ti, no pierdas la esperanza!". Y lo que más me rompió el corazón fue cuando mi hermano de siete años dijo "Nunca volveremos a ver a papá" con los ojos como platos en la sala, mientras dos de los agentes nos miraban con una mirada fría y sin vida. Como a las 4 pm recibimos una llamada de mi papá y nos dijo que le entregaron un papel pero no le dieron oportunidad de leerlo ni mirarlo cuando sacaron una pistola en su cabeza diciendo que dispararían si no salía, mi papá asustado y solo pensando en la seguridad de sus hijos y su esposa, buscó desesperadamente mi número y me llamó. Joel Aguirre Basilio es mi padre, es un hombre trabajador que trabajó casi todos los días sacando a su familia lo mejor que pudo, mi papá celebró su cumpleaños número 47 el 14 de junio de 2025 como puede ver en la foto mi padre era querido y muy feliz de celebrar con nosotros a pesar de todo lo que estaba sucediendo ese día, pedimos su ayuda para ayudar a obtener los fondos para un abogado de inmigración para intentar lo que sea para ayudar a mi papá, por favor comparta o done cualquier cosa que ayude.
