I'm trying to help a family that is going through a very difficult time. They currently have a chosson at home, and while the simcha is a tremendous joy, it has sadly been overshadowed by deep financial worry from the start.

There is barely enough money for day-to-day expenses, let alone for making a chasunah. To make things more challenging, the kallah's side is also struggling financially. It's been a few weeks since the engagement, and there is still no date set for the wedding—simply because they cannot afford the deposit for a hall. Everything is at a complete standstill. As of now, there isn’t even enough for the most modest wedding in the simplest hall.

To make matters even more painful, they have another son currently in shidduchim, but they feel completely stuck. They’re hesitant to even consider a potential shidduch because they don’t know how they could possibly afford another bracelet, ring, and all the other expenses that come with a wedding.
