Hi, I’m Cecily Kouris, Chief Operating Officer at Saturday Sun Productions, and I’m reaching out to you on behalf of our incredible fiscal sponsor —Lost Dreams Corp .

This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing support and guidance for former athletes during the challenging transition away from athletics. Their goal is to provide therapeutic and educational opportunities for those who are struggling, as well as partnering with organizations that can provide specialized support through their services.

That's where Saturday Sun Productions comes in! We're thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Lost Dreams to accomplish our shared goals. Saturday Sun Productions consists of a passionate group of artists and storytellers who aspire to bring awareness to social injustice and raise our collective consciousness through creative film production. As our fiscal sponsor, Lost Dreams allocates a percentage of the funds they raise for our production budgets, and in turn, a cut of the profits from our projects go back to the foundation. This creates a great symbiosis between the organizations, and gives us the opportunity to give back through our films. All contributions made to Lost Dreams are tax-deductible.

Right now, we are pushing to fundraise the last of the budget for 'Demetrius DuBose, All American,' a deeply personal tribute to the director's (John Kouris) late mentor and the former captain of the Notre Dame football team, Demetrius DuBose. If you've been following the project, you know what a monumental lift completing this film has been. We are so proud of the work we've done, and are thrilled to announce that the finish line is in sight! We are in discussions with a prominent sales agent, who is guiding us (along with our newest Executive Producers, Stephen Pope and Jeremy Sample) through the final, polishing edits needed to get 'Demetrius DuBose, All American' on a streaming service like Amazon Prime or Netflix and available for you, the public.

We are so excited to be this close to making sure the world never forgets Demetrius, and we couldn’t be more honored to have the opportunity to work with Stephen and Jeremy. Stephen Pope is a remarkable stunt coordinator, actor and assistant director, best known for The Adjustment Bureau (2011), I Am Legend (2007), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and, most recently, Marty Supreme (2025), along with many more. With an Emmy win and nine nominations under his belt, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the team. Jeremy Sample, legendary stuntman and actor, has been a part of a range of projects, including The Wolf Of Wall Street (2013), Uncut Gems (2019), Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Selma (2014), and more. He also holds nine awards nominations, and like Stephen, Jeremy’s knowledge, skill, and expertise are invaluable. We feel so humbled to have the opportunity to work with these titans, who also bring their perspective on college football, as both men played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The final $100k of our original $300k budget will be used for costs associated with distribution, including editing, licensing, and marketing of the film. If you're interested in learning more about this project, please visit our website.

Every contribution, no matter how small, helps Lost Dreams Corp continue its mission through the art we create here at Saturday Sun Productions. Join us in making a difference. Thank you for your support!
