Join Us in Showering Alyssa, Austin & Aiyana's Journey Home

Hello, my name is Nicole Bostwick. My daughter Alyssa Blackburn was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia at 24 weeks pregnant. Five days later, the baby was delivered via emergency c-section because Alyssa's health continued to worsen.

Aiyana Hope was born on July 29th at 1lb 1oz. Alyssa has been discharged since & with God's grace; Aiyana is still doing well in the NICU at the University of Iowa Hospital, even with a recent heart procedure.

Austin & Alyssa have been navigating through these trials & uncharted territory with grace, despite not getting the opportunity to celebrate with all of you at their baby shower we just started planning.

Given the circumstances & logistics, their baby shower has been cancelled. Austin’s paternity leave will soon exhaust so they’ve been purchasing a few items along the way while he’s off & can start preparing. Thankfully, he’s able to use PTO when they bring their sweet baby girl home!

All that said, I’m very excited to extend Austin, Alyssa & Aiyana continued love & support with all of you❣️
