Join Us in Remembering Colson Blake McSwain

The McSwain family recently lost their precious baby boy Colson shortly after having his first open heart surgery. Colson was only on earth for 10 days before gaining his angel wings.

Colson was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, the same congenital heart defect as his mother Katie as well as pulmonary atresia during the second trimester of pregnancy. The family knew he would need multiple heart surgery's with the first surgery being during his first week of life.

Colson had his first open heart surgery at nine days old which he seemed to tolerate fairly well. During the night Colson unexpectedly suffered a complication and was called home to be with the Lord.

This family has not only suffered the devastating loss of baby Colson. A little over a month ago Katie lost her mom, Pam after a short battle with gallbladder and liver cancer.
