Hi, my name is Dree, and I’m reaching out to friends, family, and kind strangers for help during a time of unimaginable challenge.

For the past six years, I’ve been in a relationship with Daniel, who has been my rock and my support while I’ve worked hard to build my music career, sometimes juggling three to four jobs at a time. Daniel has always been there for me and has become an essential part of our family. But right now, we’re facing a dire situation that is testing us in ways we never imagined.

The Unfair Challenge Daniel is Facing

Recently, Daniel was arrested for charges that have completely blindsided and baffled us. Specifically, authorities are claiming that Daniel’s last name, the same name on his birth certificate, is not his real name. They claim that his last name is a false identity. We do not know why they believe this. Daniel is now facing prosecution in federal court and the government has unlimited resources. We are fighting to find the truth, achieve the best possible outcome, and not be completely decimated in the process

Why We Need Your Help

Daniel is currently unable to work or access his own financial resources due to restrictions placed on him by the court, leaving us in an incredibly difficult position. He covered the bulk of our living expenses, and now all of that responsibility falls on me. I currently juggle three jobs, and additionally perform on Twitch regularly to uplift my audience through song and performances. Very integrated in this community, I participate in fundraisers regularly and am known as a friend to many. In addition to this, I am also Daniel’s legal caretaker/guardian and help care for an elderly parent, all during one of the most stressful and uncertain times of my life. But I can’t do this alone.

We have retained an incredible defense attorney who has agreed to work with us at a reduced rate because she understands the unique and unjust nature of Daniel’s situation. However, even with her generosity, the legal fees are still substantial. We need immediate assistance to cover legal fees and living expenses while I continue to work and support our household as much as I can, through this crisis. With the current budget and the mounting fees and unknowns, I simply cannot do this alone.

We are seeking $60,000 in total. This will cover the legal fees to fight Daniel’s case and provide a few months of living expenses while I continue working and looking for more opportunities. This help will give us the stability we need to face what’s ahead and secure the best possible outcome for Daniel’s future.
