In preparation for a life-changing medical outreach trip to Ghana, we will be leading a team of medical professionals and volunteers to serve communities along Lake Volta. This region is known for the heartbreaking reality of child trafficking and forced labor, particularly in the cattle and fishing industries. Our mission is to aid in both immediate rescue efforts and long-term restoration for the children and families affected by modern-day slavery in Ghana.
In partnership with City of Refuge Ministries (CORM), a Christ-centered organization dedicated to prevention, intervention, restoration, and education, we will work to help rescue children from slavery and trafficking and support their journey toward healing. CORM provides safe housing, education, spiritual guidance, and medical care for every child they bring out of exploitation.
During this medical outreach trip, our team will travel to Lake Volta, where child trafficking and exploitation is most prevalent in Ghana, to provide hands-on medical services, including health screenings and one-on-one rehabilitative care for rescued children. We will also lead women’s health and empowerment groups, equipping local women with knowledge, resources, and support to strengthen their families and communities.
In addition to this, our goal during our trip is to help free additional children from slavery by bringing them safely back to CORM, where they can begin their path toward healing and restoration.
This trip is not just about short-term aid. It’s about restoring dignity, offering hope, and contributing to sustainable change. Your support will help cover travel, medical supplies, and essential resources needed to serve effectively on the ground.
By giving, you become a part of this mission through helping rescue children, provide critical care, and empower communities along Lake Volta. Thank you in advance for being part of this work!
