On March 1, 2025, my dad received the devastating news that no one ever wants to hear. After a series of tests, including CT scans, MRIs, and EKGs, the doctors discovered two masses in his body—one in his lung and one in his brain. Just two days ago, he underwent surgery to remove the brain mass, which was confirmed to be cancer. Though he is in good spirits, his recovery journey will be long and challenging. Currently, the left side of his body is weak, and he has limited movement—unable to move his left arm and struggling to walk. He’s been moved from ICU to a regular room, but it will be a while before he’s able to go home.

The second mass, located in his lung, will require chemotherapy and radiation. It's going to be a tough road ahead, and that's where we need your help.

If you know my dad, you know he’s one of the most independent people you’ll ever meet. He would never ask for help, even after a major surgery, and he constantly apologizes for being a burden to those who love him. However, I want nothing more than to support him in his recovery and to help him finish the house he’s been working so hard to build. Unfortunately, given the current circumstances, finishing the house on his own is no longer realistic. He and his wife have already put in countless hours, cleaning, fixing, and making improvements. He’s replaced the roof by himself, wired electricity, and started working on the insulation. Attached are photos of the house, so you can see just how much more needs to be done.
