hello all my friends, my name is Rubi Vega and I am the creator of the hngout. Now, what is the hngout and why did I create it? the hngout is a creative social club where we bring creatives together and help them connect with other creatives. The goal since day 1 has always been to make its easy and as fun as possible to actually make friends and actually connect. the hngout was made to open up doors and create opportunities for all creatives.

we just had our first event ever and it went amazing! we had about 150 people show up, and everyone who attended made new friends and really enjoyed the event. the goal for the hngout is to have those big events about 4 times a year. during the in between time the goal is to have a smaller hngout every Sunday which will be free to attend to.

the big hngout we just had consisted of: a DJ, free gifts, giveaways, real networking opportunities, and a Internet celebrity special guest.

the feedback for this was amazing and as soon as it ended people started asking "when is the next hngout" this is why we made this go fund me.

Chicago has nothing like the hngout and that's one of the reasons why it is so special. Right now it is only the founder (me) funding everything. which obviously its okay and that's usually how it goes. we want to continue to build this community and grow bigger so we can provide more opportunities to the Chicago creative seen/community so we are asking for the help of the community.

all funds donated go directly to the funding of the next big hngout. thank you all for taking the time to reading this and we hope to see you at a hngout ;)
