Hey y'all! We have some big, exciting news! We are beginning the process of adopting a baby!

This means we are working with an agency on completing the tasks that need to be done in order to be seen by a birth mother.

We are not super active on our socials, so many might not know the struggles we have been going through to start our family. We have completed a bunch of testing and have gone through a bunch of procedures only to find out we don't know why we have not been able to become pregnant. However, in this season, God has put adoption on our hearts! We are ready and truly feel blessed to continue on our journey to grow our family by adopting! We have both felt called to adopt for a while and believe God has positioned us for this journey. Although we are ready, adoption comes with a financial challenge. From the cost of going through a private, ethical agency, to the attorney and legal fees, and travel costs, adopting a baby costs over $40,000.

This is a large bill to carry on our own, especially with large sums being needed at a time. We plan to take on this challenge from many angles. We wanted to share our story with our friends and family because we know it takes a village! Whether you feel called to help support us through prayers, donations, or words of encouragement, we are so blessed to have you! <3

We want to be transparent on where any donation will be going, so here is the cost breakdown:

Home study $1,850 (+ miles) before adoption and $1,125 (+ miles) after adoption with an additional $900 each year after until the adoption is finalized

Agency fees $24,000 with $9,500 due now and $14,500 due within 6 months

Birth Mother fees $5,000 (towards medical bills, living, etc. while pregnant)

Legal fees $7,000-14,000 (this can vary by state and we will not know more specifically until we are matched with a Birth Mother)

Travel fees- $3,000 would be a guess because we do not yet know what state and will have to travel on short notice. We will need to stay in the Birth Mother's state for 7-14 days after the baby is born while the legal side is being completed
