Dear Friends,

I’ve created this page to introduce you to one of the most extraordinary people in my life, my dear friend Giovanna, & to humbly ask for your support on her behalf.

Before we get to why I am asking you to support my friend I want to share a bit about who they are.

Long ago, I lived in Southern Oregon. A place where I found lifelong bonds with people who became like family. Giovanna is one of those sparkling souls. Before we met, mutual friends would tell me, “You and Gio are going to be instant best friends.” & they were right. From the moment our paths crossed, I knew I had found someone special. Someone who would become not just a friend, but a person who has changed my life forever.

Over the past decade, I’ve witnessed Giovanna’s unwavering strength, compassion, and resilience. I sometimes lovingly call her “Saint Giovanna,” because, without fail, stray animals and people in need seemed to find their way to her. Whether it was a lost dog or a friend in crisis, Gio never hesitated, she dropped everything to help. & this is genuially who she is. Someone who gives you the last slice of bread even when she herself may be hungry.

To say the least, Giovanna shows up for others regardless of her own struggles, health, or hardship. She seeks to make sure others are okay, even when she isn’t.

Giovanna is the embodiment of quiet grace, strength, and unwavering love. Beyond her creativity, kindness, and boundless encouragement, what moves me most is her steadfast commitment to care for the world around her & her ability to love those left behind by society. To me, she is truly an angel on earth.

Now, Giovanna could use our support!

For many years, she has been living in a remote area where work opportunities are scarce and inconsistent. Making it near impossible to live beyond the means of poverty. Despite this, she continues to give what little she has to those around her. Whether it be her time, resources or personal space.

Over time she has moved from one location to another. From living in spare rooms or double wides & buses. Some that have been incredibly charming homes. But still waiting for the opportunity to have a space she can call her own. This past year Gio's living conditions have deteriorated due to water damage, mold & the lack of funds to properly solve the issues; which have started to take a toll on her health.

Still...she remains strong. If you don't know her, you may not notice that she is in any sort of need. The truth is, she has been quietly running on fumes for a long long while. With my whole heart, I feel we are overdue to see this beautiful soul be reimbued with some massive blessings!

So, my dear reader, I invite you to help me give back to someone who has given so much to others.

With your support, we hope to raise enough funds to get Giovanna on her way to a securing a safe & stable home. Free of mold & in her name! A place where she can plant her seeds & watch them grow. Not just for today, but for many years to come.
