Join Us in Combating Rabies in Cambodia
Donation protected
We are Coryn Vickrey, Jeremy Gransky, Brett Flatters and Jojie Alburo and we are excited to be joining Mission Rabies. We plan to use our skills as veterinarians to help save the lives of children in Cambodia. Will you help us?
World Veterinary Services runs missions around the world to help communities in need, much like Doctors Without Borders, and I am excited to be joining up with a mission in October 2024.
Mission Rabies launched a mass vaccination campaign in Cambodia to help combat the spread of rabies. Human cases of rabies are almost entirely due to contact with dogs. Thousands of children die every year from this entirely preventable disease. Mission Rabies has made huge progress, but more work needs to be done. Mission Rabies needs veterinary volunteers to help staff their campaigns, and the veterinarians or other volunteers must bear the costs of all the travel expenses as well as program fees which cover room and board. We are also required to fundraise a minimum of £350 each for World Veterinary Services (about $450).
Will you help us raise money to help us to participate in this meaningful work?
Funds raised will be used first toward our fundraising requirements, then will help us to cover the costs of mission fees, visas and airline travel only. Any excess funds raised will be donated directly to Mission Rabies and World Veterinary Services to help support ongoing missions.
