Hey everybody, a new gym is opening in Redmond! Let's help Colton get off to a good start so he can offer quality training to our children and community. And do it in a safe and comfortable environment. Colton Howard has recently been elevated to the rank of Black Belt. He has begun a new chapter in his journey and opened his own dojo. Our son has a powerful Jiu Jitsu addiction that needs to be fed regularly and with purpose! Hybrid Athletics offers him what he needs to support this nasty habbit. Colton provides proven old school training, with some new school flavor to reach the youth of our community and deliver quality training to all of his active members and supporters. As you can see in the photos, the gym is quite Spartan at this point. The new mats have been installed (they are the black and white ones). They look and feel great. However the front of the building with the main entrance is made up of all west facing windows. A lot of them. As you can imagine, or have experienced, this makes for some very uncomfortable seating during the afternoon classes. Although the A/C works, it does little to nothing to combat the solar radiation that beams through the windows. We'd ike to get some UV protection up with some tinting, and maybe some bamboo blinds for ambiance. Also a couple more benchs to sit on. They sure are more comfortable than the steel fold-out chairs. This is where we and our children train! Let's make it more comfortable for everyone concerned. Please help us to make this happen. We'd like make Hybrid Athletics the place to be. Lets help Colton realize his dream.
