We are thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new indoor turf center in East Dorset: PLAY Multisport Turf! Founded by passionate advocates of health and wellness that brought Manchester The Body Lab, InMotion personal training, Renu wellness lounge, and LX Fitness Club, Play’s mission is to provide a year-round convenient and accessible venue for athletes and families to stay active and engaged without the hassle of long commutes.

PLAY is a 7,000 sq. ft. indoor facility that will offer 5,300 sq. ft. of turf field space for individual, school, club and pickup sports teams to practice and train. The field can accommodate an array of sports including soccer, lacrosse, baseball, softball, football, field hockey, wrestling, and ultimate – the opportunities are endless. The facility will house 4 retractable batting cages and meeting space for athletes and their coaches to plan. The space is truly multipurpose, with plans to offer kids camps, play groups, birthday parties - you name it!

Imagine the joy of reclaiming family time, with no more exhausting hours-long drives just to get your kids to their sports activities. With PLAY Multisport Turf, we're aiming to bring youth athletes and teams to our community, rather than sending them elsewhere. By expanding the menu of available sports for our kids, we're not just building a facility – we're fostering a culture of active living right in our backyard.

But to make this dream a reality, we need your help. The facility itself represents a significant financial investment, and outfitting it with the necessary sport-specific equipment requires additional funding. Baseball mounds, L-screens, soccer, lacrosse and field hockey goals – everything needed to support as many sports as possible. Our goal is to raise $20,000, which will be used to ensure that PLAY offers the best possible experience for our community's youth. Any donations over $300 will receive an exclusive PLAY hat!

Your contribution won't just make a difference today – over the course of the first five years, funds raised will be reinvested back into the community through scholarships, gifted rentals, community events, auction donations, and more. It’s a donation double play!
