Hello, my name is Salemu Alimasi, Overseer of Shalom at Sayuni Nursery & Primary School in Nakivale Refugee Settlement, southwestern Uganda — one of the world’s oldest and largest refugee camps.

In 2023, we opened our doors to serve 120 children from Congolese, Burundian, and many other backgrounds — many experiencing schools for the first time. Though full of potential, our school lacks basic resources.

We're launching a $50 from 350 people campaign to raise $17,500 to:

✅ Create a simple playground

✅ Provide essential learning materials

✅ Offer starting salaries for our dedicated teachers
