Three times a charm, as the saying goes. Tiana Kalina just had her third surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from her brain. This surgery was a little bit more challenging than her first two. Her journey continues as she and her mother, Melissa Torres, will have to travel to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for 6 weeks. She will undergo radiation throughout her brain as this third tumor appeared in a different area of her brain. We’re hoping that this therapy will be the last time Tiana will have to go through.
