Welcome! My name is Raj Gupta, and over the past year, I’ve embarked on an extraordinary journey that has redefined my life and mission. Initially, I came to Ecuador for two months to assist with a medical brigade, intending to return home shortly after. However, what I encountered here—the resilience of its people, the pressing needs of its communities, and the boundless opportunities to make a difference—compelled me to stay. One year later, I find myself fully committed to empowering under-resourced communities across this beautiful country.

Corazones Brillantes, meaning "Brilliant Hearts," is the embodiment of this commitment. Our mission is bold: to bring transformative, scalable solutions to address Ecuador’s most urgent humanitarian challenges. From clean water access to education, healthcare, and rehabilitation, we are working to build a future where every individual can thrive.

Our Partnership with FUPEC: A Proven Foundation

Corazones Brillantes is proud to partner with FUPEC, a 13-year-old foundation with a stellar record of impactful work across Latin America. This collaboration amplifies our efforts, providing access to established infrastructure, systems of accountability, and networks essential for success. Together, we ensure that every initiative we launch is sustainable, scalable, and life-changing.

Macro Impact: A Snapshot of Our Projects

1. Pure Drinking Water Project

In the Amazon regions near San Juan Bosco and Yasuni, tribal communities face severe water insecurity. This project provides sustainable water apparatuses to deliver clean, pure drinking water, directly improving health and quality of life.

For nine months, we’ve offered free English classes, bridging educational gaps and creating new opportunities for learners of all ages.

Focusing on therapy and mental/emotional support, the Orphanage Project aims to help individuals, particularly those facing emotional trauma and mental health challenges. This sanctuary will provide a safe space for therapy, healing, and personal growth, offering those in need the tools to rebuild their emotional well-being and achieve stability.

Stage 1 of our journey is complete, and we are poised to continue expanding and scaling our efforts across Ecuador and beyond, ensuring long-term success and a lasting impact.

A Sustainable Future Through Social Enterprise

To complement our initiatives, we’re launching a digital marketing enterprise in Ecuador. This venture will provide employment opportunities for local talent and generate profits to sustain our humanitarian efforts. While the enterprise is part of our funding model, your donations remain vital to our success as we scale these projects.

Personal Reflection: My Journey

What began as a brief trip has become a life’s calling. Transitioning to life in Ecuador has brought challenges I never anticipated—navigating a new environment, facing economic volatility, and adapting to cultural and systemic differences. Yet, the work has been deeply fulfilling.

I’ve spent the past decade funding non-profit initiatives through profits from my U.S.-based recruitment business, Katalyst Impact Group. Here in Ecuador, I’m striving to replicate that model, blending social enterprise with humanitarian action. This is not just a temporary mission—it’s a permanent commitment. I’ve obtained a two-year volunteer visa and plan to apply for full residency in the spring.
