I am a mother fighting to bring my two-year-old son, Noah, back into my arms. On November 9, 2024, my ex-partner took Noah from me during a chaotic and dangerous moment, and since then, he took off and has not let me see him.

I am now facing a custody battle on December 5, 2024, but I’m struggling to cover the necessary court and attorney fees on my own. I’m turning to the kindness of others to help fund this fight so I can bring my baby home, protect my family, and ensure a safe and stable future for us all.

Story:

I’m reaching out for help as I go through one of the hardest battles of my life. I’m fighting for custody of my son, Noah, who I haven’t seen since November 9th, and am facing an uphill legal struggle. My ex-partner is seeking full custody of Noah, claiming I am dangerous, while I am left struggling to pay for my legal fees and transportation costs. My situation is dire—I’m already working hard to cover bills on my own after my ex left, but now I also have to fight to get Noah back.

For the past six years, I endured physical, mental, and sexual abuse in a relationship I thought was built on love. While the physical violence stopped when Noah was born, the emotional and sometimes sexual abuse continued. I reached out for help through hotlines, therapy, and did everything I could to escape the cycle of abuse. But my ex never left—until he realized he could use our son as leverage.

On November 9, 2024, during an argument, he took Noah, and I was arrested after a panicked altercation. The police were called, and although I was bruised, I was too scared to fully explain the situation. Now, my ex has used this incident to his advantage, painting himself as the victim, while I am left with no resources to fight for my son.

My ex has been given legal aid, while I have been left to pay for everything out of pocket, with no assistance. I have been forced to find a car, pay for filing and attorney fees, and cover all the bills. Despite all of this, I am determined to fight for Noah’s safety and well-being. This is why I’m asking for your help.
