Nicklaus Fight Cancer with Strength and Hope

Our hearts are heavy as we share news that no parent and family member ever wants to hear. Our beloved Nicklaus just 11 years old, has been diagnosed with cancer. B lymphoblastic leukemia.

This journey began with what we thought were normal childhood symptoms — fatigue, bruising, aches — but within weeks, our world turned upside down. After a whirlwind of tests, hospital visits, and painful uncertainty, the diagnosis was confirmed. He was flown over to Bangor Hospital where he is currently in the Pediatric ICU. He is having a PICC placed tomorrow and will start chemotherapy.

Nicklaus is a bright, funny, and loving boy who lights up every room with his smile. He loves fishing, gaming, and spending time with his friends and deserves every chance to grow up healthy and strong.

We are now facing an uphill battle — one that includes chemotherapy, frequent hospital stays, and a treatment plan that may span months or even years. While we are determined to fight with everything we have, the financial burden is immense. Between medical bills, travel expenses, lost wages, and everyday costs of caring for a sick child, we need help.
