Hi there, on Christmas Eve 2023, my family celebrated Christmas as my daughter and I had to fly home Christmas morning so she could go spend Christmas with her dad. That Christmas Eve morning, she opened a gift with a note from an elf for me to check my email. I had an email from Santa!! He asked my daughter, Teagan, if she could help him spread Christmas cheer by distributing thank you gift bags to as many airport and airline employees as possible, thanking them for working on Christmas morning so we and many others could reach our destinations. He left us a box of supplies to put the bags together, including shower steamers, pens, chocolates, positive saying rubber duckies, hand lotion, and some others. Teagan had such a great time she asked me if we could do it again next year, and we did. It is our new tradition to go every year and thank as many employees as we can with thank you bags. However, last year I could only afford to make 60 bags. It is truly the best part of our Christmas and this year we would like to raise money so we can afford as many bags as possible to thank everyone from the airport janitor to the pilots and everyone in between. The people that have received these bags have been so appreciative of the thought and our thank you’s; it truly brightens their day.

Airport employees have some rough encounters sometimes and they deserve a special thanks for taking time away from their families that morning to help travelers, I truly believe a small thank you you can go a long way.
