Founded in 2025 in New York City, ROOT’D was created with a clear purpose: to help BIPOC women address and break through the glass ceilings they face in professional spaces.

For too long, professional networking has felt cold, surface-level, and transactional. ROOT’D exists to change that. We are building intentional, high-trust spaces where women can align their personal strengths and unique stories with their professional aspirations. It is not just about exchanging business cards. It is about building meaningful circles, breaking down barriers, and sharing real resources that open real doors.

The Story Behind the Movement

Hi, I’m Cheyenne Tull, founder of ROOT’D.

Growing up in the Bronx, I didn’t have a roadmap for navigating the corporate landscape. I didn't have access to insider mentorship or a clear guide to what opportunities were even out there. I simply had to figure things out as I went, trying different paths, learning on the fly, and pushing toward success through sheer grit.

Even when life handed me severe challenges, including a life-threatening health issue and an ongoing chronic condition, I was determined not to let my circumstances define my destination. I graduated college in four years and went on to build a career in marketing strategy, working alongside leading entertainment brands and Fortune 500 companies.

Having navigated those corporate halls as a Black woman, I know firsthand how isolating it can feel, and how vital a strong support system truly is. ROOT’D is my way of giving back to the community that raised me, ensuring the next wave of BIPOC women do not have to figure it out alone.

Community Merchandise: Producing ROOT’D merch that fosters a strong sense of identity, pride, and community connection inside and outside our event rooms.
