Join my on my mission to serve the poorest in Africa

I have been asked to serve aboard Mercy Ships in Sierra Leone. I will be there from February 21, 2025, to March 9, 2025. As you may recall, I served aboard the Global Mercy Ship in June of 2023. It was a wonderful ship full of successful surgeries in the city of Senegal. We performed many cleft palate surgeries on children. It was a miracle to see them feed again so shortly after the procedure. All of the moms were so very grateful to see their children's smiles. They were in tears. We also performed many hernia repairs on gentlemen who had their hernias for over 20 years. They were so grateful and excited to come on the ship and have their procedure performed. It was truly satisfying work both personally and professionally. The two weeks I was there, we performed over 75 procedures. ALL FOR FREE. The people of most countries have neither insurance nor the surgeons available to perform these life-saving procedures.

Global Mercy is currently docked in the West African town of Freetown in Sierra Leone. The entire crew, from doctors and nurses to every support service imaginable, is made up of volunteers who must pay their way in order to serve. Volunteers are responsible for airfare, room and board, and health insurance and care while out of the country. I am asking for support to make it possible for me to serve some of the most underprivileged and underserved adults and children in the world. Support for me is support for those who are in desperate need of surgical interventions which will provide a much better quality of life for those underserved in this area of the world. I will be serving on The Global Mercy from February 21 through March 9, 2025. With your love and support, we can make a huge difference in a lot of lives. Thank you so much!
