We invite you to join us in our mission to enrich our community through the power of Art and Culture. The Art Miles Mural Project and Muramid Museum and Cultural Center have dedicated nearly 30 years of themselves to providing free cultural programs, art exhibitions, and community events that inspire creativity and connection among half a million individuals of all ages from more than 100 countries.
However, in order to continue our vital work, especially during these turbulent times, we are seeking your support through this GoFundMe campaign. As a nonprofit organization, we don't often rely on the generosity of our community to cover operational costs and supplies, Much of our funding comes from the personal contributions of our founder and dedicated volunteers, but to sustain and expand our efforts, WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Our Goals:
Inventory Digitization and Cataloging: We aim to preserve our extensive collection of 6,000 murals and artworks by digitizing and cataloging them. This will ensure that our cultural heritage is safeguarded for future generations to enjoy.
Professional Photography: To enhance our online presence and showcase our collections, we need to hire a professional photographer. High-quality images are essential for promoting our initiatives and reaching a wider audience.
Website Development: Our website is a crucial tool for engaging with the community, sharing our mission, and facilitating donations. We want to invest in a skilled web designer to create a user-friendly and visually appealing platform.
Operational Costs: As we offer numerous free programs and events to the public, covering basic operational expenses has become increasingly challenging. Your contributions will help us maintain our facilities and continue offering free access to art and culture.
We believe that art has the power to transform lives and strengthen communities. With your support, we can ensure that the Art Miles Mural Project and Muramid Arts and Cultural Center continue to serve as a beacon of hope, creativity, and cultural pride.
Every dollar counts, and no contribution is too small. Together, we can make a lasting impact and help keep art accessible for everyone.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
Warm regards,
Dr. Joanne Tawfilis
