Join Norah's Journey to Serve in Tanzania

Hello, my name is Norah Engblom and I am planning on traveling to Tanzania to stay and serve alongside the Franciscan Capuchin Sisters at the Emmaus Health Centre for 4 weeks this August. I am a rising college freshman and this will be my second time in Tanzania. We visited the Capuchin sisters this last January and their work is simply beautiful. In the shadows of Mount Kilimanjaro, the sisters run a small eye clinic that ministers to over 100,000 people. I will be staying with these joy-filled women, helping out in their clinic, visiting school children in Sanya Juu as well as working in their garden and kitchen, which supplies food for their entire convent and part of the community.
