Hi there again,
The surgery is complete, the recovery is underway. Had a follow-up and ct results show that cancer has spread to her liver. So we're back like "Rocky 2" but this time we're going for the title. Any help is appreciated!
Hi there, I'm Steve. My better half is Nicole We recently found after an extensive hospital stay, that Nicole has cancer. I'm setting up this fund to try and help with medical bills and recovery. Any help is greatly appreciated. We are maintaining in good spirits and just because we got this diagnosis doesn't mean our fight is over. As John Paul Jones once said, "we have not yet begun to fight." Nicole's bio: raised in California Nicole's tribulations started before she could even leave high school where during her senior year she would loose both parents within 2 weeks of each other. While reeling from this loss she found herself at risk of turning down a dark path uncertain about housing and future prospects she moved to Illinois. Though this would prove to be a very beneficial move her prospects weren't much brighter. Undeterred she kept making the best decisions she could, keeping her nose to the grind. She would find herself in difficult situations over and over again. Sometimes staying with friends or at hotels or rundown apartments in bad areas. With temptation on all sides she maintained an air of hard work and determination to make each day better than the last. Having a son she knew though it was hard she needed to perserveer in order to make a better life for him. Working many jobs she kept her dreams and her morals alive for his sake. I was lucky enough to meet her 2016. At the time I was a spinning ball of chaos. She became my solid foundation and saved me from myself. As a team we have accomplished so much. Though beset on all sides by negative things together we perserveer. We have no doubt that we'll beat this, with age comes wisdom though, and wisdom tells that this fight is much bigger than either of us can do without assistance.
These funds will go directly to her health care bills and to support her comfort during the battle with cancer.
