Hello, I’m Navasky Anderson, a professional track and field athlete, and proud National Record holder for Jamaica in the 800m. As many of you know, my career has been shaped by hard work, perseverance, and the invaluable support of my community, Cave Valley St.Ann. From the start, they have been my backbone, always there to cheer me on, lend a helping hand, and believe in me even when the odds were against me. Today, I want to give back to the community that made me who I am.

Recently, my beloved Jamaica was struck by a devastating hurricane, leaving my family, friends, and entire community in dire need of support. The damage is immense, and the people I hold so dear are now facing serious challenges that go beyond physical recovery, they’re trying to meet basic needs.

I cannot sit back and do nothing. I’ve always believed in the power of community, and I know how much of an impact even the smallest gesture can make. That’s why I’m using my platform to mobilize resources for my people. My goal is to travel back to Jamaica and personally visit my community, to help provide the basic necessities that are so desperately needed: food, clean water, clothing, and essential necessities.

As much as I am funding this initiative from my own pocket, the reality is that I need your help to make a real difference. Your support, whether large or small, will go directly toward providing for those who have supported me throughout my journey. The more people who come on board, the more we can do together.

This is not just about recovery—it’s about showing the world what it means to stand together as a community, to lift each other up when the world seems to knock us down.
