Join Micki's Quest to Protect Caitlyn

Hello my name is Micki Lilienthal and I was told that I should start this to try and help me with my current situation. My daughter Caitlyn Lawrence who is 15 years old she'll turn 16 on October 11th has been in Colorado with her Father. Child Protection Services is currently involved with them. Her Dad has been recently arrested on Friday June 21st for 3rd degree assault and child abuse knowingly/recklessly causing injuries to our daughter. There is an order of protection until his first court hearing in July. So Caitlyn is staying with friends since she doesn't have any other family out in Colorado. She has told CPS multiple times that she no longer wants to live with her Father and feels unsafe in the home. And wants to come back and live with me. I have found out by Family Law attorneys here in Illinois that in order to get granted full custody I would need to hire an attorney in Colorado since that is where the child currently is. The cheapest attorney I found is four thousand dollars. So that's why I started this and sharing my story about my daughter. In hopes that people would be willing to help me get Caitlyn back home where she is safe! As many of you know I had surgery to completely remove my Thyroid in late March. Since then I have ongoing health issues that right now prevents me from working full-time at my place of employment. So being off work due to heath problems has almost drained my savings account. And obviously this was an unexpected situation that I of course didn't know I was going to need money for.
