Saint John’s fights Cancer. When I learned how deeply underfunded childhood cancer research is, I knew I had to act. While adult cancer studies receive billions, pediatric research struggles for single-digit federal support. That means many children still face treatments that are harsh and uncertain, and too many families are left without hope for a cure. I am fundraising for Children’s Cancer Research Fund because progress starts with early funding that sparks bold ideas and life-changing discoveries.

Children’s Cancer Research Fund backs brilliant scientists and essential programs that make a real difference for kids and families. Since 1981, they have contributed over $235 million to research and support services, and in 2024 more than 81 percent of funds went directly to program services. Those dollars help accelerate new treatments, reduce harmful side effects, and provide critical support during and after treatment.
