Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be running my very first half marathon at the Miami Half Marathon on February 2nd, and I’m doing it for a cause close to my heart: Dudes For Dads.

Why I’m Running

I’m not just running for myself—I’m running to raise funds and awareness for Dudes For Dads, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children who’ve lost their father figure—or never had one. Their mission is to fill the void left by these losses through mentorship, community, and opportunities that bring light and hope to young lives.

At its core, Dudes For Dads believes in the power of compassion, the strength of community, and the transformative impact of support. Founded by a group of friends who personally experienced the loss of father figures, this organization turns grief into purpose. They provide mentorship, organize community programs, and create lasting memories for children who need it most—all inspired by the lessons and love their own fathers gave them.

Honoring a Legacy

Dudes For Dads is a tribute to incredible fathers and role models—men like Steven Goodwin, Ben Gieseman, Alberto Panqueva, David Miller, Bill Stokes, and so many others. Since 2022, the organization has been making a difference through mentorship, community outreach, sports programs, and scholarships, all while honoring the legacies of the men who inspired their work.
