Hi everyone! My name is Cole Alexander, and I’m raising money for a cause that means a lot to me. Cancer has influenced many of us and I want to make a difference for those who have been affected. My grandmother is a proud survivor of uterine cancer and seeing her go through treatment all those years ago had a lasting impact on my family and I. My grandmother and those like her who have gone through cancer are the strongest people I know and I believe that we can all make a difference together. I currently play division I college basketball at Fairleigh Dickinson University and will be utilizing my platform as a college athlete to promote cancer awareness throughout the remainder of the season, particularly uterine cancer. I wear a peach cancer patch on my jersey to honor those who have gone through uterine cancer and I have a goal to raise $2,100.00 for the American Cancer Society to reflect the number I wear on the basketball court (#21). While many of us have personal stories, family, or friends who have been affected by cancer, I believe that even a small difference can change someone's life! Every penny donated will go straight to the efforts of the American Cancer Society! Thank you to all who have taken the time to read my story. Any donation is extremely appreciated. God Bless!
American Cancer Society
The mission of the American Cancer Society is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Even just a few dollars can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.
If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to me.
