Hi friends, Alex here! So this is hard because I feel a bit embarrassed, but as I’ve learned in the program, asking for help is necessary at times. My son Adrian and I have been reunited and been slowly transitioning back into full time living together for about a year. It has been so

tough and extremely rewarding!! I am so blessed in all I have received since I’ve been in recovery, and financial humility has been a very humbling experience and difficult to navigate while taking on more responsibility as a single parent.

Anyone that knows my son knows he’s a kind and sweet soul, he’s my gentle giant. His dreams to play professional basketball one day are supported by many, and he has been asked to play for a great travel team. The travel coach is also going to be his coach for his high school team which is such a blessing as he will be a freshman in just a few short months!

My whole objective is to have him return to living with his mom as supported as possible in every way, and if I can ask for help with getting his room together, and travel basketball costs. It’s a tall order, but he deserves the world and I’ll do what it takes to help him achieve his goals, hopefully we can make this transition easy and his passions come to life! Thank you in advance,
