Help disabled children in Ghana!
Donación protegida
Hi!
In Ghana, children with disabilities are often hidden away. Their mothers are labeled as witches, shunned by their communities, and left without work or education. The stigma is so deep that families feel they cannot ask for help—leaving these children without the care, opportunities, and dignity they deserve.
My name is Irene van Slooten , a Dutch Speech and Language Pathologist living and working in Norway. I run my own privat practice and work mainly with children with disabilities like Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, autism, eating and swallowing disorders, and other diagnosis.
This summer, I will be traveling to Ghana with the organisation Smiles for Speech to help children with speech, communication, feeding, and swallowing challenges. ️️ Many of these children have limited access to support, and together with a team of specialists, we will:
✅ Provide training for local healthcare workers ⚕️⚕️
✅ Offer direct treatment and therapy to the children
✅ Supply essential equipment to support their development
To make this possible, I need your help! Every contribution, big or small, will help us give these children a brighter future.

Thank you so much for your support! Together, we can make a difference!
