Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu,

For my birthday this year, instead of receiving gifts, I am hoping to give sadaqah jariyah by building a water well in my parents’ name through WaterWellGift.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The best form of charity is giving water.”

(Ahmad)

This well will be built in Bangladesh and will serve 2–3 families (up to 20 people) as their primary source of water. It will support their daily needs, from drinking and cooking to hygiene and household work.

I am inviting my friends and loved ones to be part of this ongoing charity with me. By contributing, you share in the reward of providing clean water. Every time someone drinks from this well, makes wudu, prepares food, or uses the water for their daily life, the reward continues for everyone who helped build it, inshaAllah.

This is a form of sadaqah jariyah, a charity whose rewards continue long after we are gone. Any amount is deeply appreciated, and even sharing this page is a form of support.

May Allah accept this from all of us, place barakah in it, and make it a continuous source of reward for my parents and for every person who contributes. May Allah purify your intentions, bring you closer to Him through this charity, and make it a means for you to earn His pleasure and Jannah.
