Join Martin Garcia in His Journey Home

Hi, my name is Martin Garcia. I was adopted when I was in the second grade by foster parents who horribly abused me. I've finally cut them out of my life. I'm 32 now and I'm trying to raise enough money to legally change my name from Robert McKay (name my adopted parents gave me) to Martin Garcia, which is my birth name. It's going to be about $800 to do that.

While I'm trying to raise money for this, I'm also trying to look for my birth parents, Kristina Burns and David Garcia. I was born on May 12, 1992, in Peoria, IL. It was a closed adoption. I don't know if they are even still alive, but I'm hoping to find them or another family member that can reach out to me.
