We are also grateful to announce we’ve been awarded two grants!
$10,000 from HelpUsAdopt and $7,500 from Gift of Adoption. We have a few other grants pending but their decision periods aren’t until later this fall.

Because of these amazing opportunities our fundraising goal has basically halved!
Thank you so much for supporting us on this beautiful adventure!

Thank you for considering a donation in support of our adoption.
Josh and I have been married since February 2019. In the summer of 2020, we felt comfortable enough in our marriage and in our finances to try for a baby. However, we never could have prepared for what would actually happen. Now that we are halfway through 2024, we have endured a great deal in our journey to become parents. After developing truly life-altering symptoms, it was discovered that Erin has stage IV, deep infiltrating endometriosis. Five surgeries later, the damage done to her body has made it practically impossible to have a biological child.
We were advised to attempt fertility treatments due to Erin’s relatively young age. We have undergone three rounds of IVF and though we had embryos, each transfer sadly ended in a loss. While we feel beyond grateful for the opportunity to try for biological children, our hearts have been pulled deeply in the direction of adoption. Both of our extended families have experiences in adoption and we have been very grateful for their stories. We interviewed numerous agencies and have chosen to move forward with Courageous Hearts Adoptions, Inc., in central Indiana. We chose Courageous Hearts because of their unwavering support of birth mothers.

Through this agency, we have been presented to numerous families and have recently been matched with a birth mother who is due in late August. We are very aware of the joys and the sorrows that come with adoption and we feel as though we are ready for this adventure.

We have applied for many nation-wide grants and are awaiting decisions from those organizations. In Indiana alone, just about 30 families apply for the same grant opportunities and though they want to, these organizations cannot fund every application.
We cannot express our gratitude enough for the outpouring of love and support we have already experienced from our communities. Raising children takes a village and funding an adoption is no different. We are beyond grateful for anyway in which you would like to walk alongside us in this new adventure, whether that be through financial contributions, our t-shirt fundraiser (through T-Zone custom apparel & signs in Milford) or your encouragement and well wishes (and maybe some parenting advice!) We cannot wait to someday share the legacy of love that helped to build our family with our future children.
