Join James in Enhancing Meadows Park for Pups

Hi! My name is James Mattocks and I am a rising sophomore at The Epiphany School of Global Studies. I am a member of Troop 132 in Boy Scouts of America. I have been a Scout since first grade and I am currently a Life Scout. I am working towards my Eagle rank and I am fundraising for my Eagle project.
It was brought to my attention that the town of Trent Woods desired equipment for the dog park at Meadows Park. This lines up with my interests as I am a dog lover and have three dogs of my own! Over the last several months, I have researched different dog parks and equipment. I visited Meadows Park and using the dimensions of the space, came up with a proposed layout with equipment that would fit the space. I presented my ideas to the Commissioners of the Town of Trent Woods and the Eagle Board and was approved by both.
My next step is to purchase four unique pieces of equipment - a bridge climb, a tunnel house, a hill climb and two hurdles. All materials are made of recycled plastic wood, which is weather-resistant, durable, low maintenance, sustainable and a superior alternative to most other products.
I will also need to purchase and install two loads of fill dirt to even out the ground at Meadows Park.
Once the site has been prepped, I will be coordinating the installation of the equipment with the Town of Trent Woods, volunteers and fellow Scouts.
To make all of this possible I will have to arrange, coordinate and host multiple fundraisers as this project is more costly than most Eagle Projects. I am using this GoFundMe platform to track my progress during these fundraisers as I march towards the final goal.
I am excited for this opportunity to provide fun, stimulating and safe activities for the dogs of Trent Woods and I thank you in advance for your support.
