Hello everyone my name is Suzanne Gaver. It breaks my heart to announce that my Father Bill Turney has passed away on May 15th 2024 at Frederick Memorial Hostipal. This was a very unexpected passing and our family is heartbroken. Bill was 78 years old and happily married to Cheryl Turney 58 years. They had 3 children together , 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild who loved him dearly. As we gather together as family, friends, and a community to honor Bill we face the challenges and emotions of funeral planning. Bill and Cheryl have a grandchild, Joshua Vieira that is currently serving in the United States Army and is based over seas in Poland. and our family are determined to fly Josh home to be with us as we honor Bill and mourne together. A flight cost from Poland back home to Maryland is costing Josh $1500. We are asking anyone who may be willing to help Josh and our family contribute to the financial cost to help bring him home to honor his grandfather.
