Our annual Ideas for Good Care Package campaign is here! Each year, we come together to provide essential winter items to our neighbors in New Brunswick. Last year, we distributed 200 kits thanks to your generosity.
From 96 packages in 2020 to 202 packages in 2025, this year, we aim to do even more—and we need your help!
Each December, IDEA students use 100% of fund-raised monies to assemble holiday kits. These kits are comprised of hygiene items and winter accessories, and are distributed at the Unity Square Community Center in New Brunswick just before Christmas. Students have been able to assemble nearly 100 packages on an annual basis thanks to generous donors.
Started in 2019 by Hillsborough native and Rutgers University Alum, Michael Panchery has been leading an annual effort to assemble care packages for those in need during the holiday season. 2025 marks the seventh annual fundraiser, in partnership with the Rutgers University Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship Academy (IDEA).
We invite you to join us in our mission to give back to the New Brunswick community and spread love and kindness to all this holiday season.
