The floods that took place last Thursday/Friday were complete devastation despite the lack of local news involvement.

I have been screaming for help for days and have only heard crickets. That is unacceptable! Where are our representatives & so-called leaders?

I've seen one news article that didn’t even paint a complete & accurate picture of what’s going on. This is so much bigger than one house. I have lots of family & friends up that holler and no one has spoken to anyone in my family.

It's time for people to step up and back up their words.

Waste Management quoted me a price of over $1,000 for one single dumpster for us to have for cleanup debris. Again, this is more than one house. This is several houses, their buildings, belongings, 4-wheelers, tools, all gone. All washed away & now local bad news is rummaging through people’s stuff like garbage.

When did the world become so cold that it forgot what basic human empathy is? People are so quick to say they will pray, like a post, or talk about it, but then nothing.

The news channels or local representatives don’t want to waste their time or be bothered? We’ll share the word ourselves. How much truth do the news channels really share anyway?

Please share the link, donate if you are able, and bring your gloves & boots to Sharon Holler and help if you are able. There are plenty of people that have no one, or are not physically able to clean up in the aftermath. Elderly folks had to literally be rescued by other locals. Have you seen that on the local news? Me neither
