Join Dingo Night: Support DILA and the Deaf Community

For our final American Sign Language (ASL) project, our class is hosting a charity event, “Dingo Night,” 7 p.m., May 8, 2025, at Salisbury University. Money raised on Dingo Night will be used to provide the Eastern Shore deaf community with basic necessities like food, clothes, toiletries, and also the means for individuals, who normally would not have the opportunity, to attend Deaf camp, through DILA (Deaf Independent Living Association**). Our class feels Dingo Night is important for raising money for these needs, but we have also learned that by sponsoring and organizing activities year-round, DILA is giving the local deaf and hard of hearing community chances to socialize and have fun, something the hearing community may take for granted.

All are welcome! We would love to have a large, diverse attendance at Dingo Night on May 8, getting to know and support the Eastern Shore Deaf community, while having fun and possibly winning prizes. However, we appreciate any and all donations you can give if you cannot be there in person. Thank you!

Dingo Night Details:

Date/Time: May 8th, 2025. 7:00pm-9:00pm.

Location: Salisbury University, Perdue Hall, room 156.

Entrance fee of $5 includes ten dingo sheets and more cards can be purchased for $.50.
